Do You Have Any Questions?
You can get beer kegs from many local microbreweries or specialized distributors. Some even offer delivery or pickup directly from the brewery.
CO₂ gas is available from specialized suppliers (e.g., Idéal Fût et Gaz, Marchand de Bière, etc.) or from certain stores that sell homebrewing equipment.
Once tapped, a keg that’s properly kept with CO₂ will stay fresh for about 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the type of beer. If unopened, it can last several months (just check the best-before date provided by the brewery).
A 30 L keg holds about 85 cans (355 ml), or roughly 50 pints (20 oz), or around 120 servings of 250 ml.
Yes — even better! Draft beer is fresh and untouched by light or oxidation. The CO₂ system also ensures optimal pouring with a smooth, quality head.
Yes. Many microbreweries offer home delivery of kegs. You can also buy and refill your own returnable keg.
Absolutely. Most microbreweries offer their beers in kegs (20 L, 30 L, or 50 L). Just make sure to check the coupler type — Sankey D is the most common.
MALTO can take care of line cleaning for you — just give us a call. Otherwise, a cleaning kit (hot water + sanitizing solution) is perfect for proper maintenance between uses.

Here’s all it takes:
- Place the keg in the fridge.
- Attach the coupler to the top of the keg.
- Connect the beer line to the tap and the gas line to the CO₂ regulator.
